Just stopped by Bicycle Coffee for S+M Vegan’s seitan sandwich, a cookie sandwich, and a cold brew coffee. Now I’m just sitting in the grass, alone with my thoughts (at Jack London Square).

Earlier today, a customer came wearing dark sunglasses but clearly sobbing as she ordered her smoothie. She told me that her aunt had just died, and we kind of cried together for a minute, then she gave me a hug.
It’s these rare moments of human connection that give me hope for the world.
I know I said I would wait on posting Amid The Ruins stuff, but I just wanted to point something out that I noticed straight away. Nothing to spoil either so I thought it would be safe. Also, both by coincidence happen to be from each season’s fourth episode.
